I am a freelance cinematographer, camera operator and editor from Manchester, UK. I am also an Adobe Certified Professional for Premiere Pro and After Effects. Since 2015 I have been a freelance writer for Videomaker magazine.
I have filmed and edited work for corporate / charity clients including Arrow Films UK, The Stroke Association, Girls Out Loud, Speakeasy and the Sonder music festival. I was also the director of photography on Rick's Plaice, the web TV series from world renowned keyboard player Rick Wakeman.
I have worked as a DP / camera operator on both fiction and non-fiction films for Leaky Shed Films, Sic Infit Productions, Yellow Raincoat Productions, Willow Tale Films and Courtyard Creations. I have also made music videos for the bands Sonic Boom Six, Bleach Blood and Ideal Forgery and shot live performance videos for The Tuts, Canter Semper and Polly Virr. With the late John Katsoulieri, I conceived and co-directed the video Aelia Laelia for the British avant-garde composer and experimental artist Christopher James Chaplin.
I also produce and direct short films as Duck66 Films. I directed the horror comedy short Once Bitten... written by Kevin T Rogers and starring Lauren Ashley Carter. Once Bitten... won 15 awards and was selected for 105 film festivals around the world, including being selected as a finalist at the BAFTA Cymru qualifying Carmarthen Bay Film Festival. Following its successful festival run, Once Bitten... was released on Grimmfest TV and also on Troma Now, the online subscription channel from Lloyd Kaufman's Troma Entertainment. My previous short horror film, TEAM, was an official selection at 25 film festivals.
